Royal Canadian Signals Empty
PostSubject: Royal Canadian Signals   Royal Canadian Signals I_icon_minitimeFri Jul 10, 2009 10:22 pm

The Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS, RC Sigs) was a corps of the Canadian Army. The corps was established in 1903, making it the first independent Signal Corps in the British Empire. Initially known as the Canadian Signalling Corps, the unit became the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in 1922 and was responsible for land communication and signalling. When the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force and Royal Canadian Navy were unified in 1968 to form the Canadian Forces, the RCCS was reformed into the Canadian Forces' Communications and Electronics Branch.

This is basically to establish communications everywhere. So all Signalmen will have radios, as well as whatever their specialty is.

Contact me to join. Anyone who I haven't talked to, is not a Royal Canadian Signalman.
